Site Store Professional LLC was founded in 2006 by a private investment group and is based in San Diego, California.

The Site Store Pro eCommerce system was originally offered as a site design and online store development package called "eStore Pro" by eDirective.com. Created by Kevin Rounsavelle in 1999, the eStore shopping cart has evolved into a robust, feature-rich, complete ASP ecommerce solution used by more than 400 online stores worldwide.

In December 2006, the Site Store Professional LLC investment group acquired the intellectual property rights and technology assets of the eDirective.com eStore software.

After modifying the eStore source code to be 100% Dreamweaver compatible and enhancing the structure and installation routine to be designer and store-owner friendly, the eStore application was rebranded as Site Store Pro.

By combining a proven ecommerce solution with additional advanced features requested by store owners, ecommerce developers and website designers, Site Store Professional has brought Enterprise-level ecommerce to the Dreamweaver user in an easy-to-integrate, downloadable package.
