Site Store Professional : Dreamweaver Shopping Cart

Download and install the Site Store Pro FAQs Manager that was released with the new version of Site Store Pro on January 17.

This add-on can be installed on any version of Site Store Pro and can be installed as a stand-alone upgrade without affecting any other site functionality.

Download the zipfile and the follow the instructions below to install the FAQs system on your Site Store Pro enabled website(s).

Note: You must have a functioning installation of Site Store Pro to install and manage the FAQs system.

SITE STORE PRO FAQS SYSTEM ADD-ON INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1) Extract the contents of faqs_manager zip file to a temporary location on your local system.

2) Upload the /estore_admin/ folder to your webserver and then copy the /estore_admin/ folder to your local website folder (dreamweaver site definition location)

[Recommend uploading the /estore_admin/ folder from the FAQS zip file to your webserver BEFORE copying into your local folder so you won't have to upload the entire estore_admin folder to the webserver if you are not using file synchronization feature of Dreamweaver ]

3) Copy the faqs.asp, faqs_search.asp and faqs_view.asp files to your root of local installation folder (definition)

4) Apply the Dreamweaver template file main_store to the each of the 3 faqs files now in your root folder of your local site definition. (you can use the Modify > Templates > update current page command to apply any changes you have made to the main_store.dwt file to the three faqs files)

5) Upload the three faqs ASP files in the root folder to your online webserver root directory.

6) Execute the sspro_faqs.sql file on your MS SQL database to install the FAQS tables. (Located in the SQL_INSTALL folder extracted from zip file)

7) Open up http://www.yoursite.com/faqs.asp to verify installation (replace www.yoursite.com with your own domain or IP)

8) Login to the admin, click on Store Setup and then 'FAQS' Manager on left menu to add/edit faqs content.
