PayPal Pro is the “local” checkout version of PayPal.

When using PayPal Pro, the customer does not leave your website to make credit card purchases. (Customer will briefly leave the site if paying with PayPal but will complete the purchase on your website.)

To enable PayPal Pro on your website, you must be approved for a PayPal Pro account at https://www.paypal.com .PayPal Pro is a traditional online merchant account where the vendor must be approved based on their business history and credit rating.

After receiving your account approval, you can enable PayPal Pro on your online store by first selecting PayPal Pro on the ‘Checkout URL and Payment Provider Selection’ screen and then completing the PayPal Pro configuration screen located at: Store Setup > PayPal Pro Configuration | Settings

Note: PayPal Pro cannot be used with another payment processor such as Authorize.net. If you want to accept PayPal payments with another credit card gateway (payment provider),  you need to use the PayPal Express Payments feature.
