When upgrading to a newer
release of Site Store Pro you do NOT
need to reinstall the entire application or database.
You simply have to download the latest release from your account manager
and then replace the /estore_admin and /SiteStorePro directories
with the folders of the SAME NAME located in the ‘UPGRADE_From_Trial_LITE_VERSION’
folder in your new zip file. (The upgrade from trial process and
upgrading to a new version is very similar)
Replacing ONLY the ‘estore_admin’ and ‘SiteStorePro’
folders prevents the possibility of overwriting design files that were
changed after your original install date.
Upgrade Steps:
· Login to your account manager at
https://www.sitestorepro.com/myaccount
· Download the latest zip file from the ‘My
Downloads’ section of your account home page and save it to your local
computer.
· Open the zip file and extract (copy) ONLY the /SiteStorePro/
and /estore_admin/ folders
to the location on your local system where you are working on the site.
(Overwrite the folders and folder contents of the same name on your local
system).
· Upload the new /sitestorepro/
and /estore_admin/ directories
(folders and subfolders) to your webhosting server to complete the upgrade.
Your installation has now been updated
to the newest version!
