1) Login to your web-based admin.
2) Click on the 'Inventory' tab.
3) Find the item that is out of stock on the inventory list and then Click 'Edit'.
4) Set Stock Level to 0 (zero)
5) Select the message you want to be displayed to the user on the website.
(ie. "Temporarily Out-Of-Stock")
6) Click 'Update' button
Item will still appear on the website (online store) but it will be disabled for purchase. User will be shown the "Out-Of-Stock" status message instead of the 'Add-To-Cart' button.
