Some design modifications made when editing the built-in Dreamweaver template files or when editing the Site Store Pro CSS files will not be visible on your local development system and should be previewed/tested online.
After modifying the included .DWT files in Site Store Pro, the following folders should be uploaded to the online webserver via FTP:
/store
/checkout
/myaccount
/css
The following files in the “root” of the sample store should also be uploaded after modifying the main_store.dwt.asp (main store template) : default.asp about.asp, testimonials.asp, terms.asp, privacy.asp, customer_service.asp, contact.asp.
(Note: If you are using your own “root” files from a previous website design, you will not need to upload any files from the “root” directory when making changes to main_store.dwt.asp)
TIME SAVING TIP: All Site Store Professional files should have been uploaded to your webserver during the installation of Site Store Pro. After modifying the design of the store files on your local system, you will only need to upload 4 folders and root files listed above. The rest of the Site Store Pro files/folders do not have to be uploaded every time you make design changes to your website or online store.
IMPORTANT:You must have completed the installation of the Site Store Pro SQL database on your hosting account to view Site Store Pro files online. If you have not completed your database installation, you will receive an ASP error when trying to access any resource in the folders listed above.
