Item can be displayed randomly on the website’s home page by checking off items to ‘Show On Home’ Page in the products manager and turning on the random home page display on the Store URL & Default.asp configuration screen.

The random home page display feature is included with the sample store but may not be available for installations where the shopping cart was installed on an existing website.

Some online stores use the store home page (/store/default.asp) as the site home page. However the majority of installations use the default.asp page in the installation root directory as the website home page. The random home page display is an easy way to display specific items on the home page and keep the website home page “fresh” by displaying random items.

Item(s) that are display on the home page will be linked to the product details page so the user can see more information on the item(s) and add the item to their shopping cart.

To display random home page items on a site that was “upgraded” with Site Store Professional, add the following include file to the home page. /sitestorepro/display/home_page_display_with_image.asp
