The Brands (Manufacturer) feature gives the store admin the ability to “categorize” items into easily searchable “sections” of the online store.

Brand is a required element for EVERY item in the online store.

Although some online stores may only be selling their own products and not offering products from other vendors (manufacturers), Site Store Professional requires that at least one (1) Brand record be added into the admin system prior to adding any products.

If you will only be selling your own Brand, simply enter your company name or domain name as the Brand name for the required (1) record. You can also disable Brand searching from both the included dynamic left-menu system and the online store search form.
