Does Site Store Pro work with Microsoft Access or MySQL instead of SQL Server?

No, Microsoft SQL server is required and Site Store Professional cannot be installed on MySQL or by using a MS Access .mdb file. Due to the resource and security limitations of Microsoft Access, Site Store Professional is only available with a MS SQL server back-end database, and cannot be used with MSACCESS as the database. However, Site Store Pro does run on SQL Express which is the free edition of SQL Server. Due to the issues with supporting both MySQL and SQL server installations and since the majority of Windows website hosting accounts only offer SQL server and not MySQL, Site Store Pro is only available with a MS SQL Server database. (Most Windows-based hosting accounts offer MS SQL as the included database option or as an add-in for a small additional monthly fee.)
