Order Status Manager (Mark As Completed / Send Shipment Confirmation)

The Order Status Manager is where the administrator can change the status of an order and/or send an automatic shipment notification to the customer.

To change the status of a specific order, follow the steps below:

1.     Locate the specific order using the Order Manager or Order Search

2.     Click on the ‘Update Order / Shipping Status’ link on the Order Details page.

3.     Change (Select) Delivery Method, If Required. [Shipping Orders Only] (optional)

4.     Enter a shipping tracking URL. [Shipping Orders Only] (optional)

5.     Select Shipment | Completion Date.

 

6.     Select the new status of the order from the ‘Update Order Status’ drop-down list.

    • SHIPPED: Email Will Be Automatically Sent To Purchaser>  If this option is selected, the order will be marked as closed (completed) and a shipment notification emailwill be emailed to the customer. THIS OPTION SHOULD BE USED IF YOU WILL BE SHIPPING THE ORDER OR JUST SHIPPED OUT THE ORDER AND WANT TO NOTIFY THE CUSTOMER BY EMAIL AUTOMATICALLY. 
       
    • COMPLETED : No Email Sent >  If this option is selected, the order will be marked as closed (completed) but a shipment confirmation email is not sent to the customer. THIS OPTION SHOULD BE USED IF YOU ARE REMOVING AN ORDER FROM PENDING STATUS AND DO NOT WANT THE CUSTOMER TO BE EMAILED.
       
    • Send Download Reminder Message > If this option is selected, the user will be sent a reminder to download their item(s). (Order Reminder Message)
    • Send Duplicate Order Confirmation Email > If this option is selected, the user will be sent a copy of their order confirmation email.
    • Refund > If this options is selected, the order will be marked as a refund. An amount greater than zero (0) must also be entered in the ‘Total Refund Amount’ field. (More Info)
    • Canceled > If this option is selected, the order will be set as Canceled. (More Info)

 

7.     Click on the ‘Save Order Changes’ button.

After updating an order’s status, you will be redirected back to the order details page and the new status will be reflected on the order information.

SHIPPING TRACKING URL: If you are entering a tracking code for a shipment, you should enter the full tracking URL for the shipment so the user can go directly to view their status (not just the code). If you want to auto-create the tracking URL for your specific provider instead of having to enter the full URL, please contact support for assistance.
